Setup
Where did the tutorial go?
The setup tutorial is now on /tutorial. This page is only for FAQ answers.
Why use the website instead of Discord /settings?
The website has the larger setup panel, previews, role search, channel search, module navigation, and message editors. Discord /settings is better for quick edits.
What permissions should Lunaris have?
Give Lunaris View Channels, Send Messages, Manage Messages, Embed Links, Attach Files, Read Message History, Use External Emoji, and Use Application Commands. Administrator is optional, but it bypasses channel overwrite issues.
Where do I set who can use /log?
Open the Roles module and edit Logger Roles. Administrators bypass normal role restrictions.
Commands
Why is a command missing from a module?
Each module only shows commands it actually changes. Use Overview search when you need to find a command fast.
What is the difference between events, training, and raids?
Training uses the event command path with the Training type. Raids use separate raid commands and their own message formats.
How do poll and giveaway durations work?
Use values like 30m, 1h, or 2d. Hidden polls need a duration so Lunaris can reveal the winner/results when voting ends.
Can text commands use my custom prefix?
Yes. Set one prefix in the dashboard, then text commands use that prefix only.
Logging
Where do event logs post?
Open Channels and set Logger Output. If you use separate log channels, check the Logging module for the exact category channel.
Can all logs go into one channel?
Yes. Turn off “Specify Channels For Each Log Type” and set the main Server Logs channel.
Can command logs go to separate channels?
Yes. Turn on separate log channels, then choose channels for Event & Raid Command Logs, Moderation Command Logs, Text Command Logs, and other categories.
Does /purge save what it deletes?
Yes. Purge logs create a transcript and send it to the configured logging channel.
Applications
Where do I edit acceptance messages?
Open Applications, select an application, and edit the accepted DM embed for that application.
Can each application use a different panel channel?
Yes. Each application panel can save its own channel and linked applications.
Where do variables like {guild.name} work?
Use the Documentation page for the variable list. Variables work in text-related dashboard fields when Lunaris has a matching value for that command or message.
Troubleshooting
Why did Lunaris fail with Unknown Message?
That usually means Discord deleted, moved, or timed out the message Lunaris tried to edit. Try the command again, then check that the bot can read and manage messages in that channel.
Why is a post not showing in the channel I selected?
Make sure the module has the right channel saved and Lunaris can View Channel, Send Messages, Embed Links, and Read Message History there.
Why does a role selector look empty?
Refresh channels and roles from the dashboard. If it still looks empty, the bot may not be in the selected server or Discord did not return that role list.
